I order kabab dishes and lamb shank dishes from Darband Express all the time, and they never disappoint! The meat is always tender and flavorful, the rice is perfectly cooked, and the portions are generous and fresh. The quality is consistently excellent, and the service is quick and friendly. Easily the best Persian food in town of Oak Ridges! highly recommend! Almost forgot the crispy rice you get with every meal!

We ordered two dishes: One was Baghali Polo with lamb shank, and the other was Albaloo Polo with chicken. The food quality was good, and the portions were large. You can order one dish and share it between two people. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. If you are looking for a nice dining environment, this place may not be the best choice because this branch is mainly for takeout. However, it does have seating for up to 8 people.

Still, I loved their food and the quality they offered. When they opened a branch in Richmond Hill about a year ago, I was thrilled. Since then, I’ve tried a variety of dishes, and the portions are very generous, often enough for two people. The food quality has remained consistently excellent, and I really appreciate the diverse selection on their menu. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always making you feel at home. As for the pricing, I find it quite reasonable, especially compared to other Persian restaurants in Richmond Hill. Overall, Darband delivers great food, excellent service, and good value.
